These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Travelo website at heytravelo.com, the Travelo mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the “Service”), and related services operated by Travelo (“Travelo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Travelo and are provided to meet app store requirements, including Google Play’s requirement for a publicly accessible terms URL.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use online services) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service and that they have read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Certain features (such as payments, location sharing, or community tools) may require you to be 18 or older, or may be restricted by local law.

You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or if you have previously been suspended or removed from the Service.

2. Your account

To access certain features, you must register for an account using accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us promptly at support@heytravelo.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account where you have failed to safeguard your credentials.

You may not create an account using a false identity, impersonate another person, or use a username that infringes someone else’s rights or violates these Terms.

3. Description of the Service

Travelo provides a travel planning and social platform that may include, without limitation:

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. AI-generated itineraries, recommendations, and other automated outputs are suggestions only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying travel details, bookings, visas, safety, and local regulations before you travel.

4. License to use the app

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Travelo mobile application on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Travelo and its licensors. The Service and its content (excluding your User Content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. User content

User Content” means text, photos, videos, audio, comments, itineraries, profile information, and other material you submit, post, or make available through the Service.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content, you grant Travelo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and technical purposes), display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use your User Content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service and to enforce these Terms.

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content; (b) your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights; and (c) you have obtained all required consents from people identifiable in your User Content.

We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law, or that we reasonably believe harms users or the Service. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content but may do so.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required. Repeated or serious violations may result in account termination.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Some features may require payment, including one-time purchases or recurring subscriptions (“Paid Services”). Prices, billing periods, and included features are shown in the app or on applicable store listings before you purchase.

Google Play and Apple App Store purchases

We may change pricing or subscription features with notice where required by law or app store rules. Free trials or promotional offers, if offered, will convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends, as disclosed at sign-up.

Taxes may apply. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for Paid Services you order.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., maps, places, payment providers, social login, analytics, cloud hosting, AI providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk. Any booking or transaction with a third party is solely between you and that party.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we will process personal data as described there.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data where applicable law provides such rights, by contacting support@heytravelo.com.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that AI or itinerary outputs will be accurate or suitable for your trip; or that defects will be corrected. Travel information is for general planning only and is not professional travel, legal, medical, or safety advice.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVELO AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PAID SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including fraud or willful misconduct where such limitation is prohibited).

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travelo and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party rights.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through in-app settings where available, or by contacting support@heytravelo.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, pose a risk to other users or the Service, or where required by law. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends and we may delete or retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on https://heytravelo.com/terms.html and update the effective date above. For the mobile app, we may also notify you in-app or by email where appropriate.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

You agree to first contact us at support@heytravelo.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days, it may be brought in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring claims in your local courts.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer rights, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
